The following policies are effective as of May 2021.
To better support our staff, protect their livelihood, and respect their time, a credit card will be required to book all hair appointments.
Our program will conceal your information in an encrypted format, which means that your information is confidential and safe.
Booking with us, you are automatically in agreement with the following salon policies.
We do not want our client to just feel good, but rather beautiful inside and out. Everyone deserves to feel outstanding and gorgeous.
We believe in seeing beauty in everything and everyone. Creativity has no limits. We work with our clients to make your vision a reality.
Our work does not have to come at a high cost for our planet. Everything, from paper to hair, is recycled or reused to help the world stay beautiful.
J L’Art Salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to any member of our staff. In severe cases, access to the facility may be restricted.
Feel free to text to your heart's content, however, we ask that you be considerate of others by refraining from taking calls on speaker during your service. Please be considerate of others and our spa environment. We reserve the right to abbreviate your service if your phone interferes with your allotted service time.
For the safety and comfort of our guests and staff: babies, toddlers, and children are not permitted to accompany an adult during service. We are happy to reschedule your reservation to a date and time that childcare is secured.
We do offer services for our little guests; however, a parent must accompany minors under 12 and be able to supervise the service. Children are not permitted in the room when waxing and lash services are being performed.
J L’Art Salon reserves the right to terminate any service at any point if we feel that the child is interrupting other clients’ relaxation.
J L’Art Organic Salon and Spa accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Contactless pay, and cash. We do not accept personal checks.
All services and products are non-refundable.
If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please contact us to discuss the experience and any resolutions we can come to. We remind all color clients that you are under a color service contract.
The service must be a mistake from the service provider... not something you might have changed your mind (after the service has been performed). In case of a disagreement, a redo must be validated by management. You have 14 days, per the color contract, to contact the Salon.
Please keep in mind, using box color or going from Darker to Lighter tones may result in more than one service to achieve your desired result. Your stylist will give you a full plan to reach your desired look during your consultation.
We understand that you may have to cancel or change an appointment with us due to your busy schedule. To respect the time of both our guests and our staff, we simply ask that you notify us of a cancellation or reschedule at least 48 hours before the appointment.
If an appointment is re-scheduled 3 individual times within the 48-hour window you will be placed on a walk-in basis only.
This is so that we may have ample time to fill the appointment time should you need to cancel your service. Appointments that are canceled less than 48 hours prior will result in a $50 fee or 50% of the services you are reserved for, whichever is greater. We will charge the fee to the credit card we have on file to secure your reservation. If the cancellation fee can not be processed, you will not be able to book or receive a future service until the fee is paid.
We have multiple alerts for appointment confirmations. If you are not confirmed, your appointment will be canceled.
To respect our Stylists' time, if an appointment is no-showed, you will be subject to a $50 no-show fee or a charge of 50% of the total amount due for services, whichever is greater and serviced on a walk-in only basis. Please be advised if you No Show on a Re-Do Reservation, we will not be able to schedule a new reservation free of charge. If the fee can not be processed, you will not be able to book or receive a future service until the fee is paid.
Please be courteous to your Stylist and other clients. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may have to reschedule your appointment.
We do offer alcohol and nonalcoholic beverages at our salon. It is an adult environment. We do card all clients who wish to have alcoholic beverages.
If we determine that a client is exhibiting inebriated behavior before or during a service, we may ask the client to reschedule their appointment to ensure their safety as well as our employees’ safety. Guests will be charged the standard cancellation charge mentioned above.
Information collected from this site or at the salon is only used if we need to contact you for further information regarding your appointment or recordkeeping services.
